The Parkschlösschen

Refugium

The roots of both Buddhism and Ayurvedic medicine are located in India. As one of the great world religions, Buddhism is dedicated primarily to mental and spiritual aspects of life and to religious belief, while Ayurveda is focussed on physical and spiritual health.

In Traben-Trarbach, Germany, on the Moselle River two of the most unique concepts in Europe not only provide a well founded insight into the Asian way of life, but also offer genuine cultural, culinary and therapeutic highlights.

The Ayurveda Parkschlösschen Bad Wildstein in Germany is synonymous with authentic and effective Ayurvedic cures. The Buddha Museum, which was opened in December 2009, is the home of one of the largest collections of Buddha figures in Europe.

A special cooperation between the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen and the Buddha Museum enables you to get to know them both!

Enter the fascinating world of Buddhism. In Traben-Trarbach one of the largest Buddha exhibition in Europe with more than 1000 figures invites you into the myth-enshrouded world of Buddhism. Numerous figures from various epochs and from different countries in Asia provide insight into the eastern philosophy.

After your visit to the exhibition you can relax and tank energy at Germany’s Ayurveda Resort Number 1. In the in-house thermal spa area there are aroma saunas, a steam bath and a thermal swimming pool. Yoga and various exercise programmes help in the rejuvenation process.
